Saipan 1944: A Panzer Grenadier Game

In June 1944, U.S. Marines and soldiers land on Saipan, fighting through beaches, jungles, hills, and cane fields to secure the island and bring Allied bombers within range of Japan. Japanese forces defend with the Imperial Army and elite Special Naval Landing Forces, culminating in tank battles and a massive banzai charge. This complete boxed game includes 40 scenarios, four mapboards, and 495 playing pieces. Players command U.S. Marines, Army units, tanks, flamethrowers, and heavy artillery against Japanese defenders in battles across the island.
