Shadows of Malice

Players cooperate as heroic champions empowered by Light to locate and unseal hidden Wells of Light before a shadow demon gains a physical form. Each turn, players move across the Realm, fight creatures and stronghold Guardians, and use cities and mystics to acquire potions, treasure, and soulshards needed to confront Guardians and reveal a Well’s nature. Shadow forces advance independently, entering the board at random and attempting to defile any Light Well; if a Well falls, the demon manifests and players must defeat it in battle to win.
