Star Wars: Rebellion – Rise of the Empire

Expands the campaign with characters, units and mission options drawn from Rogue One-era operations. Players add new leaders and specialized units to their forces, deploy new starships and ground troops, and use tactic and mission cards that introduce ambushes, false orders and cinematic combat effects. The expansion includes new miniatures, dice and markers to represent U-wings, TIE Strikers, Nebulon-B frigates, the Interdictor and elite soldiers, and provides scenarios that shift strategic objectives and offer alternate paths to victory.

Otázky k pravidlům

Odpovědi z pravidel od asistenta pravidel Ludoya.

When do we choose and play advanced tactic cards?

At the start of each battle round, both players simultaneously choose and reveal one card for that theater, then resolve its top or bottom ability, starting with the current player. You can’t play them during an attack, and each player must play one per round (though you may choose not to resolve its abilities). (p. 2)

Do leader tactic values determine how many tactic cards I draw?

No. With cinematic combat, a player can use a combat action once during each of their attacks to reroll up to a number of dice equal to their leader’s tactic value for that theater. If they have multiple leaders there, they use only the highest value. (p. 2)

When does a unit with damage equal to its health get destroyed?

With cinematic combat, units are destroyed at the end of the battle round, after all units in that theater have attacked—not during the attack. A player can spend a matching special-icon die as a combat action to remove one damage and potentially save a unit. (p. 2)

Can my structures be destroyed if they’re my only ground units left?

Normally, yes, if your opponent still has ground units there. But if you rolled at least one die in that theater’s battle this round, your structures aren’t destroyed and another combat round is resolved. (p. 2)

Do minor skill icons count toward mission requirements, and do they give me dice?

Yes. Each minor skill icon counts toward that skill’s mission requirements and lets the leader roll one green die when involved in a mission. Green dice show direct-hit icons; no more than three can be rolled for a mission or combat. (p. 1)
