The Awakening

A fantasy adventure module set in the lands west of Blood Pass, where ancient villoi—locust-like inter-dimensional humanoids—have been awakened from centuries of hibernation by a greater evil. For characters of levels 4–6, the scenario sends adventurers to explore fortified temples, uncover the source of the threat, and stop the combined menace from overrunning the surrounding lands. The module includes five detailed maps, twelve defined encounters with opportunities for additional missions, a new Open Game Content creature, Game Master notes, and an adventure log. It is designed for First Edition and OSRIC fantasy roleplaying systems, with conversion notes for Third Edition play.
