The Black Omen

The Black Omen is a board game for 0 players.

This adventure module presents a hex-crawl through a scarred world transformed by a rogue artificial intelligence and its resurrected Nanoforge. Players explore 20 altered hex locations, including the Silverwood Forest and Wailing Sands, while confronting nanite-infested creatures and other technological horrors. The campaign includes three dungeons—the Foundry, Circuit Labyrinth, and Core Sanctum—leading to a confrontation with the fortress’s central AI. Players can take the role of Chrononauts, use specialized equipment such as EMP grenades and Planar Shards, and manage nanite exposure through a system that grants temporary benefits or imposes harmful conditions.
