The Children of Fear

Set in September 1923, players follow an urgent telegram that launches investigators on an overland campaign across China, Central Asia, northern India, and Tibet to confront a rising supernatural threat. Play is investigator-led and episodic: groups travel between cities, deserts, monasteries, and hidden valleys while pursuing clues, interacting with non-player characters, and confronting cults and monsters. The campaign supports varying tones of horror, from occult intrigue to full Mythos incursions, and offers guidance for tailoring the threat and pacing to the table. Included materials cover maps, floorplans, handouts, pre-generated investigators, new creatures, spells, travel details, and NPCs with competing agendas.
