The Death Mage

An arcane spellcasting class for the Pathfinder RPG, this class draws on the powers of death, spirits, shadow, and the undead. Rather than learning spells from books or through a bloodline, death mages gain their abilities by listening to the lingering echoes of the dead and learning from departed spirits. The class offers a distinct spell list and powers separate from those of wizards, sorcerers, and clerics. Characters can explore the forces of death without being evil or focusing on undead, though either approach remains possible.
