The Gem and the Staff

A powerful wizard sends a skilled thief to steal a precious gem and a magic staff, with little time to complete the task. This one-on-one competition module is designed for one player and one Dungeon Master, with two separate scenarios that allow the participants to switch roles after the first adventure. Scoring sheets, encounter summaries, character figures, and a map book support quick setup and play. Player maps reveal rooms as they are explored, while complete Dungeon Master maps provide the full layout. The adventures are intended for level 8 thieves.
