The Shimmering Portals

Players enter a plain 15-by-15-foot stone chamber through a trapdoor in the ceiling. Climbing down is safe, but a fall from the 10-foot drop causes damage. Each wall contains a doorway filled with a doorless, bluish light that shimmers like reflections on water, leading into the next stage of the adventure.
