Think Larp: Academic Writings from KP2011

This collection presents ten academic papers examining live-action role-playing from historical, sociological, anthropological, and educational perspectives. The essays explore topics including the development of the Danish larp scene from subculture to mainstream phenomenon and the relationship between larp and gender roles. Created for the Knudepunkt 2011 conference, the volume continues the tradition of analyzing larp through academic methods. The papers are double-blind peer reviewed and focus on research and critical discussion rather than practical advice for playing.
