UltraQuest: Gold, Ruhm! und Ehre!

Players form a party of four adventurers by choosing from eight races and six professions, completing character creation in about ten minutes. The party explores a map of the kingdom of Ultimor, undertakes encounters and events, collects magic items, earns fame (experience) and glory, and accumulates gold. Progress toward knighthood or legendary treasure is tracked over potentially long campaigns; the game can take hours or days and may end in sudden failure. Gameplay uses event book scenarios, character cards, tokens and dice to resolve exploration, combat and rewards.
