Players build a local rail network by placing track, signals, and sidings on a shared tableau while playing and arranging cards that represent routes, stations, and communities. Each turn requires balancing limited funds against the specific travel demands of villagers, fulfilling exacting trip requirements to score points. Strategic placement of infrastructure and careful management of resources determine how efficiently the network serves scattered rural needs.
