Warfighter: WWII Expansion #56 – Battle of Tarawa! Japanese 1943

This battle pack recreates the four-day defense of Tarawa in November 1943, as Imperial Japanese Navy Special Naval Landing Force troops resist the United States Marine advance across the central Pacific. The Japanese defenders are heavily outnumbered and fight a holding action from fortified positions. Players command Japanese SNLF soldiers through four missions, using new weapons, equipment, and skills against 20 hostiles across 12 locations. The pack includes four objectives and focuses on delaying the advance while inflicting casualties on the attacking force.
