Whispers in the Dark: Quickstart Rules

An investigative horror roleplaying game that adapts 5e rules for period mystery and supernatural danger. Players create investigators using new ancestries, backgrounds, feats, equipment, sanity and madness rules, along with revised damage, healing, resting, and lingering injury systems. The included scenario takes place in Restoration-era New Orleans, where a gruesome murder leads to a shadow society seeking to summon an ineffable evil. Six pre-generated characters, new creatures and NPCs, handouts, and a custom character sheet are included.
