This sourcebook for the Legend of the Five Rings RPG presents the Emperor’s Winter Court in the Phoenix lands during the Clan War. Nobles gather at Kyuden Asako as diplomacy strains under military pressure, rival clans maneuver for advantage, and the ancient evil bound by the Black Scrolls draws closer to release. The book updates Rokugani history and society with information on gempukku ceremonies, castles and fortresses, new shugenja schools including Tejina illusionists, new skills, nemuranai, astrological events, and guidance for political intrigue. It is fully compatible with the Second Edition RPG.
