A Game of Thrones: Hand of the King

Players compete to become the king’s Hand by moving a single agent through a 6×6 court grid to recruit influential characters and claim house banners. On a turn the agent moves orthogonally to a character token; the active player takes that token plus any same-house tokens passed over, and may claim banners when matching or outnumbering opponents. Collecting the final character from a house triggers one of several companion abilities, and a rotating set of companion powers changes strategies each game. The game supports two to four players and emphasizes spatial planning, set collection, and tactical interaction.

Great game in all aspects. Beautiful, great theme, easy to learn but really strategic, works well with 2-3-4 players, little box, cheap... what else can anyone ask? It reminds very much to Five Tribes but more simplier. Abstract game but the characters have thematic abilities, and that's cool.

Unexpected underrated game. Fast and fun and can be easily adapted to play with children.
