Aljubarrota: The Royal Battle
This card game is based on the 1385 Battle of Aljubarrota between Portugal and Spain. Players receive a king card and a face-down deck, then take turns adding cards to face-up piles. A card may be played when it matches the suit, colour, or value of the top card. Cards that do not match either return to the bottom of the deck or are played with a king card onto any pile. The first player to discard all their cards wins.
