Ars Universalis

Players act as patrons of the arts, funding and guiding projects by 60 historical figures from the Middle Ages through the early 20th century across literature, visual arts and science. Each artist or thinker is represented by a project that players resolve via a variety of puzzle types that simulate creative problem‑solving; success yields Artistic Prestige points and money. Players manage finances, select which figures to sponsor, and balance risk and reward as they invest in increasingly valuable projects. The game ends after a set number of rounds and the player with the most Artistic Prestige points wins.
