Ascension: Apprentice Edition
An introductory two-player deck-building set that simplifies setup and card reading with redesigned frames, distinct border colors, and refreshed artwork. Players use Runes to acquire new cards from a central deck and use Power to defeat monsters and earn Honor. The center row shows a fixed number of available cards; when a card is bought or defeated it is replaced from the deck. Victory points come from purchased cards, defeating monsters with Power, and certain cards that grant points when played. The components and visual cues focus on making card roles and deck management easier for new players.
