Ave Caesar
Players race chariots around the Circus Maximus using a simple card-driven movement system. Each turn a player plays one of three hand cards to advance a chariot a corresponding number of spaces, then draws to refill, racing to complete three laps and pause to 'Hail Caesar' before finishing. The track has variable lanes, corners and sudden bottlenecks where lanes merge; occupying the single lane can block opponents and force them to miss turns. Strategic lane choice, card management and timing of moves determine positioning and who reaches the finish first.
