Beowulf Legends: Terror at Heorot
Players take the roles of loyal thanes feasting in King Hrothgar’s hall of Heorot while the monster Grendel attacks each night. Over four rounds, they draft cards to collect gold, healing balms, honour, and songs that may earn Hrothgar’s gifts. After each feast, revealed Grendel and Feast cards determine which players suffer scratches. When Beowulf arrives to defeat Grendel after the fourth feast, he shares Hrothgar’s rewards with the most honourable players. The player who suffered the most is laid to rest, and the surviving player with the most gold wins.
