Blocks in the East

The Russian Campaign 1941–45. A strategic World War II simulation for two to four players, with one side commanding Germany and its Axis allies and the other controlling the Soviet Red Army. Players move major formations, conduct combat, manage production and fuel, and attempt to achieve scenario-specific objectives across the Eastern Front. The game covers the invasion of 1941 through the fall of Berlin in 1945, with campaign and shorter scenarios including Barbarossa, Case Blue, Kursk, and Bagration. Wooden blocks conceal unit identities when using Fog of War, while optional rules add technology research, strategic bombing, U-boats, amphibious landings, and airborne assaults. Solitaire play is also supported.
