Carbone

Carbone is a semi-cooperative strategy board game where players lead rival nations in a tense race for global dominance — all while trying to avoid a climate catastrophe. Build your Society, launch diplomatic strikes, and manage your carbon emissions… because if the planet burns, you all lose. But if someone reaches 7 cards first, only the highest score wins. Each round, players collect coins, draw cards, and choose between developing their Society or playing a Diplomacy card to disrupt opponents. At the end of your turn, your emissions are counted — and an equal number of cards are revealed from the Carbon pile. If that pile runs out before a Society is complete, it's game over for everyone. —description from the publisher
