Carcassonne: The Gifts
Mini-expansion that adds a set of 25 gift cards to the base game, introduced for the 20th anniversary. Players earn gifts by performing helpful actions for other players during normal play. Cards represent simple one-off effects (examples include synod, road sweeper, change on the lie, cash out, and take 2) that modify scoring, tile interactions, or resource flow when played. The deck is shuffled and gifted cards are drawn or exchanged according to the expansion’s rules, adding small tactical choices without changing core mechanics.
