Chocolatl

Set in the world of the Aztecs, this game draws on the legend of Quetzalcoatl and the significance of cacao, the fruit of the gods. Each player uses an identical deck of numbered cards to make blind bids at six board locations. These locations provide benefits such as victory points, improved bidding cards, or ways to modify bids. Depending on the round and the leader’s position on the score track, players may bid all cards simultaneously, bid location by location, or reveal initial bids before committing the rest. Players who best predict their opponents’ choices and manage their cacao sacrifices score the most points.
