Players take on the role of Victorian-era detectives working with a famous investigative duo to solve a series of separate cases drawn from Watson’s journals. Each round, players choose locations to visit, spend carriage tokens to reach them, and read secret clue cards found there; only one player can access a location at a time, so travel costs and timing matter. Players take notes, piece clues together, and race to return to 221B Baker Street to submit their answers. A correct solution wins the case; an incorrect attempt eliminates that player from further play. Allies and period resources can assist deduction throughout the game.
