Players lead bands of warriors competing for control of Heldenheim. During a drafting phase, each player selects three characters with unique abilities that shape their strategy. Across several rounds, the contested districts change, requiring players to adapt their tactics. Warriors are placed in chosen districts, while players gather resources, conquer territory, or use trick cards. Influence gained from controlled districts determines the winner.
