Summoner Wars

Players take the role of powerful summoners who marshal a faction’s units and magic on a gridded battlefield. Each turn players summon units from their faction decks, place and move those units, and play spells or abilities to control space, damage enemies, or support their forces. Combat resolves via card and die mechanics as units attack opposing units and try to wound the enemy summoner; victory comes by eliminating the opposing summoner. Factions have distinct units and tactics, and players can customize decks with additional faction cards and mercenaries for varied strategic options.
