Corinth

Set in 4th century BCE Corinth, players act as Mediterranean traders delivering goods, collecting gold and goats, and building local influence over a series of turns. Each turn the active player rolls nine dice and allocates groups of equal value to stacked chart levels; taking a level grants gold, goats, or allows delivery of goods to colored market areas on a personal score sheet. Players may buy extra dice with gold to alter level availability or have them removed if unused. Dice values can instead move a steward token across a 5x5 grid on the sheet, collecting resources at the landing and scoring when the steward reaches corner spaces. Gold and goats also buy buildings that provide ongoing powers. The game ends after a fixed number of rounds and scores goods delivered, steward progress, buildings, and remaining resources.
