Players take the roles of minor nobles maneuvering for standing at a scandal-ridden court. Each round represents a season; players place limited influence as wagers on outcomes tied to nine key nobles whose identities and effects are gradually revealed. The game combines open and hidden information, including private bits shared between specific pairs of players, requiring bluffing and deduction about opponents’ holdings. Players gain and lose fortunes as revelations resolve, and the player with the most influence after three years (cycles) wins.
