Custom Heroes
Players try to empty their hands using a climbing trick-taking mechanic: lead a set of equal-rank cards and subsequent players must beat it with an equal-sized set of higher ranks (or lower if effects invert play). When everyone passes, the last player to play leads the next trick, and finishing first determines round placements and points. Cards can be customized by sleeving small plastic advancement cards onto them. Advancements change card values or grant abilities (wilds, value reversal, counting as multiple copies, etc.), and sleeved changes persist when cards are reshuffled between hands, so players manage when and how to deploy upgrades across multiple rounds. Points and additional advancements are awarded by round rank; the game ends when a player reaches the victory threshold and then wins a hand.

A classical game with a very interesting twist. PROS - The basic mechanics are really easy to grasp and almost anyone already knows them. - Modifying the cards creates some cool, flashy moments and keep every round fresh. - Its duration is perfect: not too long, but enough to modify some cards and see cool combinations. - The art is cool. CONS - Even if it is a classic game in its core, it'll be too complex for non-gamers if playing with every modification.
