Defiance: 2nd Russo-Ukrainian War 2022-? Volume 1 – Miracle on the Dnipro 2022

Operational combat has again evolved. This simulation covers the Kyiv and Chernihiv campaigns of the initial 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, from February 24 to approximately April 1. Players purchase formation chits with logistics points, draw them from a cup of chaos, and activate formations for movement and combat while managing enemy detection and response. Headquarters provide operational points, summon air, missile, drone, and helicopter assets, and support formation capabilities. Multiple two-player scenarios include shorter engagements and a campaign game. A Russian bot supports solitaire play as Ukraine. The Russian side seeks to displace the Ukrainian government from Kyiv, while Ukraine attempts to prevent it.
