Stalingrad '42: Southern Russia, June-December, 1942

A division-level simulation of the 1942 Axis summer offensive toward the Volga and the Caucasus, covering the campaign from late June through December. Players command corps- and division-scale units over four maps and manage movement, supply, offensive planning and combat as the front evolves. The system adapts mechanics from a prior title while adding leaders, elite panzer formations, planned operations, hidden Soviet buildup, and Army/Front offensive support. Scenarios range from short operations to the full 36-turn campaign, with weather, movement, combat, recovery and supply phases structuring play. Components include extensive counters, multiple maps, scenario cards and a playbook with examples and historical notes.
