Diamonds Club

London, 1899: four gemstone dealers invest in mines, ships and prospector rights to fund improvements to their country estates. On each turn players place coins on a shared board to claim benefits; the cost of a spot increases with adjacent coins, so placement grows more expensive as the round progresses. Claimed mines, ships and prospector rights convert into gemstones based on shared values, and gemstones are spent to buy attractions for a private park. Players also develop technologies that modify income, park values and endgame scoring, and compete for achievements that grant bonus points. The game ends when a player completes their park; the highest total victory points wins.
