Dominance

Players compete to control provinces on a variable hex board by placing and moving metal faction coins and building structures that increase a territory’s value. On a turn a player takes two actions from: open a contest, strengthen a territory, move coins, gain power (draw coins), or place a coin. Contests are resolved by secret coin bets plus on-territory presence; the faction with the most coins wins the territory permanently and awards loot to the contest leader and the biggest bidder. Buildings (villages, cities, bridges, capital) raise a territory’s point value. When nearly all territories are assigned, points from territories determine the winning faction; the player holding the most coins of that faction wins the game.
