Everdell: Pearlbrook
Adds a river board and a frog ambassador that travels the water to collect pearls as a new resource. Introduces aquatic critters, constructions, and adornments that integrate with the base game’s city-building and worker-placement systems. Spend pearls to build unique wonders and embellishments that change scoring and city composition, while continuing to recruit critters, play events, and develop a tableau-driven city.

Can I use my frog Ambassador as a regular worker on the main board?
No — the Ambassador may not be used as a normal worker and can only visit River locations; if it is used on a River Destination it is considered deployed there and is returned during Prepare for Season (page 5).
How does the Shoal work — what do I pay and is it shared?
Visiting the Shoal (Ambassador only) lets you pay 2 of any resource and discard 2 cards to gain 1 pearl, and the Shoal is a shared location (page 5).
If I visit a facedown River Destination, do I get the pearl even if I can't meet its rewards?
Yes — the first time a River Destination is visited the visitor takes the pearl on top and then flips the card; only after flipping can you satisfy its listed requirements to gain additional rewards (page 5).
How do Adornments work — do they cost an action, pearls, and do they count against hand size? Can I play both on the same turn?
Playing an Adornment costs 1 pearl and uses your action for the turn; Adornments do not count against your hand limit, you may play both you were dealt but not both on the same turn, and you do not draw replacements after playing one (page 6).
Can I use card abilities or other discounts to help pay for building a Wonder?
No — when building a Wonder you must pay the listed resources, pearls, and discard the listed cards, and you cannot use any card abilities of any kind to assist in building Wonders (page 6).
Are pearls worth points at the end of the game?
Yes — any pearls you have remaining at game end are worth 2 points each (page 6).
