Set in the late 19th century, this exploration game sends players on expeditions to South America, Africa, and the Far East in search of fantastic animals, orchids, treasures, maps, and lost explorers. Over several rounds, players recruit specialists such as photographers, detectives, scholars, and medics, then assign them to distant regions. Expeditions face hazards that test their skills and may leave explorers lost. Players decide how far to press their luck as they pursue fame and fortune.
