My Favourite Things
Players ask a neighbor to list five favorite items and one least favorite in a given category, then use those lists as cards in a trick-taking round. Card strength equals the neighbor’s ranking: 1 is highest and 0 is lowest, but ties and a 1 vs 0 interaction follow special resolution rules revealed at trick end. Hands are played without knowing card values, so players deduce and judge based on others’ tastes while trying to win tricks. Each trick reveals the true rankings and generates discussion about players’ preferences.
