Truco
A trick-taking card game played in partnerships (commonly four players) or in two- or six-player variants. Each player receives three cards and plays them over three tricks, while certain same-suit combinations also score points. Players may raise the stakes by betting extra points on who has the best combination or who will take the tricks; those challenges can be accepted, escalated, or forfeited. Bluffing, verbal banter and psychological play are central as players try to win tricks, claim combinations and push opponents into folding or overcommitting.
