Fight The Fall: Faesulae A.D. 405 & Tricamerum A.D. 533

Two battles of the late Roman Empire, from the Gothic invasion to the Byzantine reconquest of the West. This two-player wargame covers Faesulae in AD 405 and Tricamerum in AD 533, with scenarios featuring Radagaisus against Stilicho and Belisarius against Gelimer. Players select command markers to generate actions, reflecting battlefield confusion and emphasizing leaders, command control, and distinct tactics. Units represent 400 to 2,000 men on a map where each hex covers about 100 yards. Victory generally comes from destroying enemy units and reducing morale.
