Flame & Forge
Players take on the roles of dwarven raiders entering a burning city to gather resources, forge weapons and confront monsters as they push toward the dragon’s castle. On a turn, place a dwarf meeple on an outer city tile to take the tile’s visible actions, clear fire by taking damage, and advance inward on subsequent turns; occupying the same tile as others reduces available actions. Actions include collecting gems, forging weapons, advancing on a knowledge track to upgrade workers, ranged or melee attacks, retiring deck cards, and healing. Combat uses a push-your-luck deck-building system where damage dealt and taken comes from player decks; weapons, monsters and other cards enter the deck and surviving fights yields greater options. Fire spreads from the dragon’s attacks, destroying tiles when overloaded; the dragon’s defeat ends the game, with cooperative or competitive scoring determined at setup.
