Orléans: Big Box
A decade’s worth of expansions and content for the medieval French city are collected in one box. Players recruit a following of varied roles—farmers, boatmen, craftsmen, traders, knights, scholars, and monks—and deploy them to generate money, goods, build trading posts and tools, open new locations, secure expeditions, and advance in science. Actions are resolved by assigning followers and using façade tiles that alter available options. Multiple strategic paths coexist and players score by balancing trade, construction and research while reacting to events and rivalries on the board. The set also includes additional place tiles introduced in previous anniversary releases.
