Forest of Tataraba
Claim woodland, harvest trees, and plant new growth while managing the changing forests of Okuizumo. Players represent clans producing tatara steel, using wood from their forest plots to make tools and charcoal for upgrading and firing their furnaces. Five tree species grow at different rates, with new growth developing semi-predictably each round. Players must balance planting and harvesting, pay to cut trees planted by rivals, and maintain a reliable forest to support continual production.
