2024 · Abstract Strategy
Forgenesis
Use unique creature abilities to reach the opponent’s corner or leave them unable to play. Each player removes two creature types from their reserve, then takes turns activating creatures on a 4x4 board. Active creatures can move one space toward the opponent’s corner or use their individual ability, such as jumping, pulling, or pushing adjacent tokens, before becoming resting. Creatures that leave the board are removed, and new creatures can be summoned onto spaces near their starting corner. A turn can instead refresh all resting creatures. Landing on the opponent’s corner wins, while having no resting creatures and no creature that can be activated results in defeat.
