Glow in the Darkness

On the dying planet of Ogleis, evolved alien factions struggle to survive beneath a frozen surface, harvesting phospho-energy and mutagenic genetic material. Each player controls a faction, beginning with units, source cities, and action cards, then develops specialized abilities through a shared, semi-hidden deck-building system. Players take two actions per turn to conquer energy source-cities, build networks, maneuver units, and raid opposing factions for genetic material. An autonomous biome evolves through procedural generation, with hostile fauna and flora reacting to the players’ actions. Combat resolves sequentially, while semi-hidden orders and action anomalies create opportunities for negotiation, manipulation, and calculated risks. The first player to collect four genetic-material tokens wins.
