Inkwell
Players act as master illuminators in a medieval abbey, gathering colored ink cubes, gold leaf, and technique cards to fill illustrated manuscript pages. On a turn a player either takes supplies from a shared mat—fitting everything onto their current manuscript card—or opts to turn the page, scoring completed work, claiming technique cards for ongoing abilities, and choosing a new page plus gold leaf rewards. Taking the last cube of a color advances the abbot’s counter and brings the game closer to its end; the abbot can also force players to move on if displeased. The game emphasizes engine-building through collected abilities and spatial planning to place supplies on pages.
