Players command a ship and crew while sailing between island towns. They collect resources, recruit crew, commission buildings for their capital, and use each building’s unique ability to develop their strategy. Towns can be conquered with pirates and sea monsters, allowing their actions to be used for free while charging opponents a fee. Alternatively, players complete events to gain influence and befriend towns. The Kickstarter Edition includes the Metropolis expansion, with 40 building cards and 2 Reputation cards. Wealth and the capital city determine the winner.
