Kitchen Rush

Players run an inherited restaurant, hiring staff, ordering ingredients and upgrading equipment while handling incoming customers. The game plays in real time with hourglasses as workers: placing an hourglass on an action exhausts that worker until the sand runs out. Actions include taking orders, preparing and serving dishes, buying groceries, cleaning plates and managing finances to cover wages and expenses each round. Play unfolds over four timed rounds; efficient multitasking and coordination determine whether the restaurant breaks even or turns a profit.
