Lanzerath Ridge
A solitaire WW2 wargame that recreates the first day of the Battle of the Bulge, placing a small American platoon against waves of German paratroopers and fusiliers. Players command individual defenders, allocate actions across defensive positions, and resolve four successive attack periods represented by enemy card decks. Each turn has two phases, and assaults, morale checks, and positional control drive the flow of play. The game ends if defenders’ morale reaches zero or a German force captures an American position, otherwise after the final attack; success is measured by surviving morale, gathered intelligence, and completed objectives.
