Pavlov's House

Players command Soviet defenders and key leaders of a fortified apartment strongpoint during the Battle of Stalingrad. Gameplay uses a deck of cards representing elements of the attacking German force; players defend the building, manage manpower and resources, and respond to waves of assaults over a campaign that simulates nearly two months of siege operations. Success is measured by holding out through the card deck until relief or replacement forces arrive, with tactical choices and leader abilities influencing survivability and attrition.
